Please protest: Takeover announcement says Sri Kesavaperumal temple (temple declared by High Court as denominational temple) was “ARBITRARILY” taken over & a servant of the Department made ‘Trustee’.

Question: When was it declared as a denominational temple?

Response 1: I don’t know …perhaps you have the means to find out ?

Response 2: Just verified … the temple is not a denomination. (I.e.Does not belong to religious denomination even if run by Tenkalai Sri Vaishnavas).

Question: Sir, was this matter judicially settled? That Tenkalai Sri Vaishnavas are not a religious denomination? Like the Chidambaram temple Deekshitars ?

Answer: No!

Question; : Then the case really is closed … , isn’t it? Any Sri Vaishnava Kovil is up for grabs by Government? Including the Kanchi Varadaraja Swami Temple?

Answer: We can’t claim to be a denomination, all are public temples… Not only Sri Vaishnava, even the Kapalishwarar temple …

OBSERVATION 1: : All Hindu temples in the country do not belong to any religious denominations and so Government has right to interfere in their rituals, rites and practices. But Muslims, Christians and minority religious groups are indeed religious denominations … and hence Government will not interfere in them?

OBSERVATION 2: What kind of Constitution is this ? Seems to be a constitution without conscience.
