Click on the above URL and read the above fascinating fantastic story! I have never enjoyed an aviation story as funny and bizarre since when in 1964 as a schoolboy I went and watched a matinee show in a cinema hall running the movie “Those magnificent men and their flying machines!”

You know what .. I think the TATAs of India should now buy this old decrepit Boeing 720 and add it to their already depleted fleet as their very first 2021 post-acquisition acquisition ! It might just bring their airline good luck as it begins once more a new chapter in its long chequered life as a private air-carrier that has finally at the end of a 50 years saga been rescued and restored to its original owners from the hands of its governmental abductors.
If the great aviator, JRD TATA had been alive today, might well just have taken up my suggestion seriously, I should think!
There is truly something about flying machines that makes men magnificent !
