In the picture below two Sri Vaishnava children are seen holding up and carrying the palanquin of the Deity. From the “urdhvapundhram” they are seen to be wearing on their forehead we can say that they represent a unity of the community , and it’s a rare heartwarming sight … It’s a unity that should really no longer be as rare as it has unfortunately been in at least the last hundred-odd years now . Let’s pray for the continuance of such unity. 🙏
