The benedictions bestowed by Tharoor and those by the Vedas

BREAKING NEWS !

Shashi Tharoor with customary grandiloquence calls for PM Modi (aged 69 at the time the article was written and presently pushing 72) to continue serving the country until age 80 and even beyond … because “the best years of life ahead” according to Tharoor are still ahead of the latter.

Tharoor’s benedictions conferred through his published article upon the Prime Minister are patently half-mocking, left-handed and tongue-in-cheek in both tone and intent since he characterises Modi’s rule as “juvenile gerontocracy”…. But nonetheless it is indeed an implied benediction in open acknowledgment of the fact that at 72 the PM is probably equally if not more “capable of top-quality intellectual performance” as any octogenarian …. Tharoor reasons that fact by invoking his own beloved mother as living, standing and shining example.

Meanwhile , just some days ago, it’s also learnt from social media that Priests of Tirupati and Srisailam Temples met Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji in New Delhi and blessed him by rendering Veda Ashirvachanam mantras (Yajur Veda 7th Kaandam 5th Prasnam 44th panchasatha vaakyam appearing in the Aswamedha prasnam of the 3rd Ashtakam 8th prasnam 14th anuvaakam recited in stentorian Ghana-paata format) and also the holy “Prasad’ from the respective temples… wishing him long life to continue working tirelessly in office and to ensure “Loka-Kshema” — general all-round prosperity of peoples — prevailing all across the length and breadth of the country!

The words of Tharoor might ring insincere but that’s not case with the ageless Vedas which speak nothing but the Truth. Modi’s longevity as the Prime Minister of India stands thus divinely assured.
