Reading the above news report only reminds me of the old not so amusing children’s story about the mischievous shepherd boy who kept shouting “wolf wolf!” as a prank he kept playing on the nearby villagers who rushed from their homes into the grazing pastures to his rescue soon as they heard the cry but only to find the him laughing and mocking at them.
Third time around though a real wolf arrived there and attacked the sheep and the shepherd-boy kept desperately shouting wolf wolf again but none of the villagers turned up to rescue him thinking that he was simply back up to to his usual mischief.
This Western media can be likened to the shepherd boy.
Iran is made out to be the wolf.
And the world community at large is the villagers — it’s only being deliberately led to foolishly believe there is going to be an imminent wolf attack that’s just around the corner…. A fear psychosis is being created in our minds.
It’s clear who benefits out of all this fear mongering — it’s the Western media, the global arms industry and yes, the Western neo-cons who are hellbent on pursuing global hegemony.
Moral of the Story:
Once a liar, always a liar. No one believes a liar, even when the latter is speaking the truth.
