Splinter group of ISIS( ISIS-K) based in Afghanistan claims responsibility for the attacks.

I ask myself : Which government will now take responsibility for the casualties ? Not the USA … of course not! … because they will say they were on their way out of Afghanistan …
And nor will the Taliban accept responsibility because they had made it clear in the last two weeks that they were only on their way getting into Kabul and would not form government until August 31 … the final deadline for completion of American withdrawal…
At the Kabul airport yesterday, it seems there were 2 separate explosions whose exact locus has now become a matter of speculation. One side of the airport was reportedly under the protection of the US military and on the other side of the airport wall was where a motley detail of the Taliban so-called security forces was trying to police the milling, thronging desperate crowds trying to board aircrafts to flee the country. And guess what ?! It seems the US military and the Taliban were momentarily arguing with each other about on whose side exactly the terror-bombings took place … can you imagine that! They were blaming each other for the 60+ dead and the 200+ injured saying “it’s not my fault”!
Then within hours both the US and Taliban realised that the blame-game would turn out to be a major unpardonable embarrassment for both. So, what do they do? They both think up a brilliant diversionary tactic! Put the blame on a third party to be the villain of the piece ! And who is it ? It’s a new ISIS outfit hitherto unknown and unheard Jihaadist terror-group called ISIL-Khorasan holed up somewhere, according to them, in the mountains to the northeast of Kabul ! This ISIL-K, according to the latest story spun by both the USA and Taliban are opposed to the peace-cum-withdrawal agreement recently forged between Biden Administration and the “good Taliban”!
Utter Cock and Bull story!
If the ISIL-K was known to be “clear and present terrorist danger” to the incoming Taliban rule in Afghanistan, why didn’t the US-Taliban Doha Agreement envisage and anticipate it and accordingly deal with the business of how both parties would jointly go about dealing with its likely threat and as part of the negotiations for phased troop pullout? Surely, the US troop withdrawal ought to have followed the degradation if not elimination of the terrorist ISIL-K in Afghanistan rather than precede it? Why wasn’t the proper sequencing done ?
Now, it is the rest of the world that is left shocked and awed by the killing of 60+ innocent Afghans at Kabul airport and is being fed with this incredible drivel of a story about ISIL-K being the new daemon in the room … And all along in these last 20 years, we were all led to believe that the only daemon in the room was the Taliban themselves?
It’s sad, it’s all really so, so sad… And there’s no one around in America or in the NATO countries today to raise their voices to proclaim that “ “Sorry” should not seem to be the hardest word!” … Someone has got to be held accountable for this appalling tragedy … this is a mass crime against humanity in Afghanistan! For those who ask ‘who?’ , I say … M/s Biden & Blinken and Stoltenberg ought to be arraigned at The Hague.
Now, let’s turn to ask the question: What is the ISIL-K? Who are they? And what do they want?

The ISIS-Khorasan group want Afghanistan for themselves ever since their mothership ISIS in Syria was degraded and disbanded there. The new frontier for the Arab ISIS is Afghanistan and if the Pashtun Taliban will not be their willing collaborators then they will have to be their unwilling adversaries.
And while the Taliban has its own network of terror-affiliates, the most powerful Trans-Afghania terror network is really not based in Afghanistan but in neighbouring Pakistan! It is the Pakistani Haqqani Terror Network! This outfit secretly supports both Taliban and ISIL/Al-Qaida, while hedging their bets on both. The Pakistani Government, through their own intelligence arm called the ISI, have made very deep investments in the Haqqani outfit. For Pakistan, it is all very strategic investment for future forays into Kashmir which again for the Taliban, Pakistan and the ISIS-ISIL-K combine, will truly be the jewel in the crown of the grand new Caliphate of the 21st century.
There are enough wealthy private and religiously-indoctrinated donors in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Levant and Yemen who are truly inspired by the vision of such a grand new trans-continental Islamic Caliphate stretching right across from Indonesia and India in the East to Turkey and Egypt in the west. They secretly fund the ISIS-family of terror-groups and the Taliban too since they wholly subscribe to the vision of a larger Caliphate in which all these groups can and will be eventually assimilated and accommodated.
These shadowy but great Caliphate-project sponsors truly believe that the only alternative geopolitical model or world-order they see fit to replace the prevailing model today of neo-liberal capitalism and the irreligious, atheistic autocratic systems of Russia and China as well, is an intercontinental Islamic Caliphate. Russia and China they consider to be their short-term allies in destroying the short-term enemy , the US and NATO countries. Once the caliphate has destroyed western dominance in Asia , they will turn their attention then in the long-term to deal with China and Russia. One step at a time. And what about India? India to them is the first long-term obstacle — a thorny one— that they will encounter on their path and hence which they must first destroy or substantially weaken before they turn their attention to begin tackling Russia or China.

The brand of radical Jihaadi Islam the Taliban preaches and practices makes them the foremost ambassadors of old Deobandi Islamic sect that was founded in Uttar Pradesh India .
That is why after Afghanistan is taken, India’s Kashmir will be the next target for the Taliban/ISIS-ISIL-K/Haqqani networks to pry open the gateways of India so it can penetrate into the Deobandi hinterlands as prelude to ultimate takeover .
The Deoband school of Islam in India was exported to and transplanted, a long time ago, onto Saudi Arabia from where it has travelled all over the world. The idea of an Islamic Caliphate …or at least the modem revival of it that we see … comes from Deoband, Uttar Pradesh, India.
All in all, after considering all the facts and trends of history in India, West Asia and in Afghanistan, there is one thing that is indisputable: A toxic idea and a toxic virus are truly virological first cousins … A toxic idea called “modern-day Caliphate” is cultured and developed inside the laboratory of bigoted religion… just as a toxic virus is bred and grown inside a biological laboratory.
Once implanted inside the human mind both virus and idea can go on to live and proliferate in human societies for generation after generations …. Very much like the deadly virus we today call the Wuhan Virus. You can tame it from time to time, of course, with vaccines, masks and social distancing … but you can never completely destroy it … for it will continue to mutate into several variants to try and somehow attack you. … variants like Deobandi , Wahhabism , Takfiri, Hanafi … etc. You simply have to learn and find ways to cope and live with it.
Let me hasten to say this in conclusion that I’m not singling out any one religion … I am not a religious bigot myself. I do believe it’s the same story with other religions of the world too … But as contemporary events in Iraq, Syria, Yemen Palestine and now Afghanistan are all clearly showing us , there are many kinds and variants of toxic ideas and toxic viruses in the world , of course, but none can really beat the degree of virulence possessed by King Corona .
