After India’s Foreign Minister’s ferocious “in your face” comments to UK Foreign Secretary, Ms Liz Truss backed off a bit from starting to lecturing India on how it ought to to conduct its foreign policy towards the Ukraine crisis
But then Liz Truss through a revealing Freudian Slip spilt her guts. She couldn’t hide the sheer insidiousness and hypocrisy of UK’s own Foreign Policy stance in the Ukraine war, when she made this thoughtless and cynical remark:

“I think the biggest danger at the moment is that we let off the gas on sanctions. We cannot do that. We need to continue to put pressure on Putin and continue to supply weapons into Ukraine. We need to make absolutely sure that we do not have a rerun of Minsk, that we make sure that the sanctions are kept on even in the event of a ceasefire, even in the event of a withdrawal of [Russian] troops…,” she said.”

If one carefully parses the above statement it’s easy to put 2 and 2 together and understand where exactly the UK Foreign Secretary wants to go with such a devilish line of thinking.
The UK will not withdraw sanctions imposed on Russia even if that country were to ceasefire and withdraw troops from Ukraine!
What exactly does she mean? One must read her lips to get the message…
Liz Truss is UK Foreign Secretary and what she is saying is that she doesn’t have to explain herself. India must figure it out itself how such a stance of the UK Government is going to incentivise Russia from ceasing hostilities ! She does not have to explain to anyone how if the UK acting at the behest of the USA, and in concert with EU , is going to persist with savage economic sanctions on Russia even after a ceasefire and withdrawal , why would Putin oblige the West with cessation of hostilities ?! What motivation would he have to do so ?
The intentions of Liz Truss and that of the UK … as well as that of the US and EU … are thus made very very clear now thanks to this Freudian slip : The objective is to prolong the war well into the long-term … Bring back Cold War 2. That’s the policy indeed that is going to be pursued since that is going to mean good for the entire western world, its economy and geopolitical position .
This is how then the action will play out thereafter …
American and UK arms and energy sector companies can look forward to booming business prospects.
EU nations will see sharp economic downturn due to high inflation caused by high cost of energy imports from USA and USA-allied nations that produce oil and gas. Europe and NATO will thereby both be back firmly in America’s corner and grip.
Meanwhile , global prices of oil and gas will surge.
The rest of the world will reel under inflation and from low economic growth.
Slow global economic growth will sharply reduce Chinese global exports. Thus weakening China’s economy.
A weakened Chinese macroeconomy will inevitably mean reduced energy imports by that country from Saudi Arabia. And that means a sharp rebuke and a lesson taught to the Saudis to put them back in their place … “you bloody Arab upstarts, don’t you ever get any smart, fancy ideas about selling your stuff to China in yuan to upend US$ denominated trade regime in the world … “.
With Saudi Arabia put in its place , the Middle East will be back firmly in the corner and grip of the USA as it always has been barring few occasions like the present moment in the Ukraine conflict.
That world scenario described above seems to be indeed the real villainous message hidden between the lines spoken by Ms. Liz Truss UK Foreign Secretary and conveyed not so subtly by her at the press conference she and India’s Foreign Minister Jaishankar addressed in New Delhi.
The deception, the dissimulation and the naked imperialistic thought-processes and motives of the whole Western World truly shines through the Freudian Slip of Ms. Liz Truss.
