By the Grace of the Almighty , today so far until now in life I personally feel I’m blessed with all 6 situations described by Sri Vidura. The future is of course all in His hands🙏
I am reminded now of the 100th Shloka of Swami Desikan’s “Dayaa Satakam” in which the Acharya reveals to each one of us what is the best ever situation in life for which we must all earnestly be praying daily to be blessed with by the Lord at Tirumala :
“natah param kimapi me tvayi nathaniyam
matardaye mayi kurusva tatha prasadam ।
baddhadaro vrsagiripranayi yatha’sau
muktanubhutimiha dasyati me mukundah ॥”
After my own daily prayer, this is one Shloka that I do mentally repeat silently, again and again, as often as possible . 🙏
PS: Today is my (late) mother’s 92 birth anniversary . She sang the Dayaa Satakam in beautiful Raaga Maalika. … and the way she rendered the above 100th Shloka is an inspiration indeed for me. https://youtu.be/xpfTVSLRSTA
