The First Edition of this book was published and made available for
sale in April 2023.
The Epistles of a Prolific Pontiff , since then has been welcomed by
readers of both the worldwide Sri Vaishnava community at large as
well as by the general Hindu public belonging to Sanatana Dharma
faith.
The book has also received critical acclaim through reviews in
journals like “Sri Nrisimha Priya” (English). It has also elicited the appreciation of several religious scholars, “aasthika-s” and distinguished philanthropists. The eminent industrialist and benefactor of several Sri Vaishnava Temple establishments in the State of Tamil Nadu, Sri. Venu Srinivasan, Chairman Emeritus of the TVS Motor Company conveyed his thoughts on the book to the

The need for a Second Edition of this book coming so early on the heels of the First after just a year was felt due mainly to the following two reasons:
(A) The First Edition comprised an anthology of sixteen carefully
selected “arul mozhi-s” in Tamizh authored by His Holiness Srimad Mukkur Azhagiyasingar” sometime in circa. 1970s and 1980s, all duly translated into English. Since, its publication, however, it was felt
that five more excellent epistles of great topical value to readers, especially the young, ought to be added to the wonderful bouquet turning it into an anthology of twenty-one splendid “aril-mozhis” republished as Second Edition.
Following are their titles which have been inserted appropriately in the Table of Contents:

- Nuggets of Vedanta
- Eight Maxims of Life
(B) The First Edition, furthermore, needed to be corrected for minor proofing errors which have now been duly carried out in the new Second Edition.
The Translator in all earnestness has undertaken the task of publishing this new Edition with the sole aim of further expanding the popular reach of Srimad Mukkur Azhagiyasingar’s deep Vedantic knowledge amongst his vast following of disciples and students living today and who still remember him for it. All through his life (1895-1992 CE), he sought to spread his rare wisdom through the widely read and appreciated, lucid, and very illuminating epistles he wrote copiously.
It is hoped this book will be wholeheartedly welcomed by “aasthikas”, their families and extended circles of relatives, friends and acquaintances in very large numbers. The income-proceeds of this second edition of the book, as in the case of the first one too, will also
accrue to Sri Nrisimha Priya Charitable Trust.
